What it is
- FrameCutter is an AI video editor for short-form creators.
- You upload a raw video of yourself talking, say how you want it, and get a video ready to post on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or YouTube.
- You change the result by asking in a chat, for example "shorter hook" or "bigger captions".
- It runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, with one account.
What it does
- Cuts filler words (um, uh), false starts and long pauses, keeping a short breath between sentences.
- Keeps the best take when a line was said more than once.
- Adds captions timed to every word, in clean styles, kept out of where the apps' buttons usually sit.
- Adds zooms, sounds, B-roll and text when asked; the AI director takes what needs judgement, like a new opening.
- Edits many clips at once.
- Exports 9:16 or 16:9.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't generate video: everything in the video is footage you filmed.
- It doesn't post to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube for you.
- It doesn't use stock footage.
Who it's for
- People who post short talking videos often: UGC creators, coaches, founders, personal brands, real estate agents, fitness creators, podcasters, and brands and agencies.
Pricing
- Free: 3 credits a month · up to 3 videos with simple edits (cuts and captions), up to 5 minutes of footage a video, 1080p with a small mark. No card.
- Starter: $19.99 a month ($13.99 a month billed annually), 100 credits a month · up to 100 videos with simple edits, the AI director, many clips at once, up to 15 minutes of footage a video, 1080p without a watermark, extra credits when you run out.
- Pro: $59.99 a month ($41.99 a month billed annually), 300 credits a month · up to 300 videos with simple edits, everything in Starter, up to 30 minutes of footage a video, 4K export while the original is kept (14 days), videos first in line.
- There are no modes to pick: what you ask decides what kind of edit it is.
- A simple edit is 1 credit a video for up to 7 minutes of footage, +1 per further 8 minutes. When what you ask needs the AI director, for example a new opening or the story put in a new order, the video uses more credits, by the work it takes. In the chat, questions and plans are free up to 100 a month on Starter and 300 on Pro, then charged by the work they take (usually about 0.3 credit); on the free plan every question uses credits. A change you ask for uses credits by the work it takes. Editing by hand, undo and exports are free (up to 10 saves a video). Extra credits: 50 for $9.
Limits
- Clips up to 20 minutes and 5 GB each, from any phone or camera, vertical or horizontal.
- Captions follow the language you speak, which FrameCutter detects.
Your footage and AI
- Your videos are private to your account, and you own your footage and your finished videos.
- AI providers see the transcript, your requests and a few still frames, never your full video files. Your footage isn't used to train AI.
- Full-quality originals are deleted 3 days after upload (14 on Pro); you can delete everything from your account at any time.
Partner program
- Approved partners earn 30% of each payment (VAT excluded) from the people they refer, while those people keep paying, for at most 12 months per customer. Anyone can apply; cash commission is for approved partners only.
